Become a Member

Who Can Join TDECU?

TDECU membership is open to all residents of Texas.

Through our partnership with the Texas Consumer Council, any Texas resident is eligible for TDECU Membership if they agree to join the Texas Consumer Council (TXCC) for free during the TDECU application process. You are also automatically eligible if you live, work, worship, or attend school in Greater Houston, Victoria, Dallas-Fort Worth, or Gulf Coast.

You are also eligible to join TDECU if you meet one of these criteria (even if you do not live in one of the counties listed above):

Becoming a TDECU Member is fast and easy

You just need to provide the following information:

Government-issued ID
Social Security number
Current address
Email address
Phone number
